Asbury Park Vibes: FUZZRD RELEASES BREAKOUT SINGLE “MONSTER CARNIVAL”
Struggling with debauchery has never sounded so good. Get yourselves ready for Fuzzrd, guys! A hard rock act, out of Minneapolis, ready to bust free of their pandemic cage and melt our faces. With the band’s first single, off of their upcoming debut studio album, we get a pulverizing portion of what they have in store for us. The track is called “Monster Carnival” and it absolutely is a monster. One that’s built of powerful riffs, righteous rhythms, aggressive bass tones, and mighty vocals. Pulling on an eclectic list of influences, from Prince to Black Sabbath, Fuzzrd has something special here and it’s ready to soar from your speakers.
Fuzzrd singer and guitarist Brett Petrusek has said that “Monster Carnival” is an account of those times when we can find ourselves in one of those “dark places.” But what happens when somebody recognizes the dark side that emerges and then embraces you for it? A rock and roll themed question for sure and one that can leave you pondering long after the track ends. Fuzzrd has an arsenal of intriguing tracks like this on the way, all simmering within a creative rock cauldron that’s now ready to boil over.
Along with Brett Petrusek, Fuzzrd is made up of Robert Berg (Bass / Background Vocals), Eric Vobejda (Background Vocals / Guitars) and Scott Savage (Drums). All seasoned rockers who have come together and found a chemistry that has created Fuzzrd. Although they’ve yet to play together in front of a crowd (no thanks to COVID), these guys are in game shape and ready to kill it. It’s an easy predication…the guys will have those live crowds rockin’ and they’ll have a huge fan-following right out of the gate.
There’s lots more to come from Fuzzrd including a conversation that we’ll have with the band in the coming weeks. The first single “Monster Carnival” can be heard on all of the major streaming services and be sure to check out the video, now available on YouTube. Fly Fuzzrd fly!!!
